Al’s Old and New Book Store has been in its present location for the last 34 years serving Wichita’s needs for used, rare, and out of print books. It has been in the same general area for 54 years. The store has now been under new management for six years and is open Tuesday through Saturday 10 am to 5 pm (closed Sunday & Monday).
We are located west of the river at 1710 W. Douglas, between Seneca & Meridian on the north side of the street (just west of the railroad crossing). Our phone number is 316-264-8763.

Several Signed Books
We have recently added some nice 1st edition, signed Science Fiction hardcover books. (May 2011)
We have also added more local history books, including Wichita's Riverside Parks, Kansas Irish, Wichita Jazz and Vice Between the Wars, among others. Images of America titles by Arcadia Publishing are discounted 10% off the retail price every day at Al's.
